Wolf Blass Eaglehawk Shiraz is a smooth, approachable red wine with bright, fruity aromas of blackcurrant, dark cherry and a touch of vanillin oak. The palate is medium-bodied and fruit-driven, with red berry flavours and a soft, generous finish.
Shiraz pairs well with grilled, roast and barbecued red meats, dark fruit sauces, Mexican, Turkish and Chinese spices, and smoky flavours. Eaglehawk Shiraz is great with Mongolian lamb, or slow-cooked veal shanks with garlic mash.
