South East Australia

This viticultural ‘super zone’ covering almost one third of Australia is a showcase of diversity in varieties, terroir and style. The so-called engine room of the Aussie industry, the best fruit converges for single varietal and blends for all palates.

Excellent conditions throughout the growing season began with average winter rainfall, and a drier spring. Very hot January weather was tempered with good water management, with balanced canopies providing shade and assisting optimum ripening. Warm, dry conditions continued through harvest, promoting good flavour profiles and colour development."
