Welcome to Wolf Blass Explore Our Wines

Summer is the perfect time to get away from it all, and the Barossa is the must-visit destination for lovers of wine, fun, and lip-smacking local food.

First and foremost, a trip to the Barossa is all about wine tasting. And where better to kick off than the architecturally striking Wolf Blass Visitor Centre? We’re open every day from 10 to 4:30, except Christmas Day.

For the ultimate tasting experience, try our iconic Black Label straight from the barrel. We're offering two for the price of one on our 'Black from the Barrel' tasting experience right through the summer season.

BAROSSA FARMERS MARKET | ANGASTON

Held in the historic Vintners Sheds near Angaston every Saturday morning, the Farmers Market is a Barossa institution. A feast for the senses, this genuine community produce market is packed with delectable offerings from the homes, businesses and farms of the local region.

ITALIAN COOKING SCHOOL | CASA CARBONI | ANGASTON

A journey through Italian gastronomy, Casa Carboni’s cooking classes are a Barossa experience not to be missed. Immerse yourself in the history, culture and techniques of regional Italian cooking in a fun, relaxed learning environment. Follow with a shared-table meal featuring Italian wine, laughter and stories.

NEW RESTAURANTS

The Barossa is teeming with a swag of new dining experiences. New kids on the block include celebrity chef Adam Swanson’s Barossa Cucina, serving up fresh, traditional Italian fare; shared delights from local chef Stuart Oldfield at Musque; and Elli Beer and Tim Bourke’s delicious, fresh produce at The Eatery, a light, modern take on the old Pheasant Farm.

CLASSIC FAVOURITES

Of course, a trip to the Barossa wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the region’s classic favourite destinations. Think Penfolds and Saltram Wine Estate for outstanding cellar doors, Maggie Beer’s Farm Shop for a cornucopia of local delicacies, and the ever consistent and always delightful Vintner’s Bar and Grill for a spot of lunch.

BAROSSA DISTILLING COMPANY | THE DISTILLERY | NURIOOTPA

Or if a G&T is your summer drink of choice, be sure to pop in for a tasting of the stunning Generations and Budburst gins at the Barossa Distilling Company housed in the historic Penfolds Distillery, or chill out in the Craft Spirits Bar with a selection of craft spirits from around the world.

SEE THE SIGHTS

For those who need a little time out from all that eating and drinking, why not explore the region’s natural beauty along one of the Barossa’s stunning walking trails, or relax and take in the wonder of the Valley from above, with Barossa Valley Ballooning?

AWARD WINNING RESTAURANTS

And boasting some of South Australia’s finest award-winning restaurants, the Barossa is home to Tuoi Do’s acclaimed fermentAsian, awarded one hat in the Good Food Guide 2018, and with one of the most extensive and eclectic wine lists going around; or the exquisite Hentley Farm, awarded two hats in the Good Food Guide 2018 and Best Regional Restaurant (Winery) in the The Advertiser’s 2017 Food Guide.
